The Valley Nature Center cordially invites one and all to its Family Nature Day in the Park on January 23, 2009 in celebration of the Valley Nature Center’s 25th Year Anniversary! This family day of fun and activity will center around our 25 years as a Nature Park and Center in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Please come join us in celebration!

We will kick off the day with a special Natural History Speaker Series Presentation by Glenn and Margaret Housley, long time VNC members and Valley residents! Come hear about 25 years of Valley Nature Center History… actually starting back in the 1920’s!

Then come and enjoy the festivities in the park, including fun, games, crafts, nature walks, exhibit hall tours and so much more!

10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – 25 Years of VNC History
with Mr. & Mrs. Housley. $3.00 per person and members are free.

11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – 25th Anniversary Family Nature Day in the Park. $3.00 per child, adult freewith child admission!
